Recommendation:
"Captain Sheodan Singh has consistently shown the greatest coolness and courage in leading his troop in action. In the stickiest situation he always remained unruffled. He particularly distinguished himself in MEIKTILA where, dispite having had his tank hit and his lap gunner killed, he handled his troop so effectively that two 70mm guns and one machinegun were knocked out. In subsequent actions he has displayed similar tenacity of purpose when fighting his tank in spite of casualties to his crews. His whole work during the period under revieuw deserves the highest praise and recognition."
