After the latter’s arrest and that of both first commanders of the OD, he took temporary charge of the whole organisation, together with another runner. He kept in close touch with secret agents arriving from England and provided them with information of military importance. The establishment of a nationwide radionetwork and the mapping of dropzones for weaponry was achieved partly due to his initiative. He was arrested March 6th, 1942 and executed in July 1943.
