Biography

Mikhail Meandrov was a Soviet Colonel who was captured near Leningrad in 1941. He defected to the Germans, was promoted to Generalmajor and was given a leading role in the Russian Liberation Army (ROA). Meandrov was captured by the Red Army in 1945 and hanged for high treason.
