Rudolf Graf von Marogna-Redwitz was married to Anna Gräfin von Arco-Zinneberg, had a daughter and two sons, Rudolf Graf von Marogna-Redwitz and Hubert Graf von Marogna-Redwitz.
He was involved in the July 20th, 1944 plot against Adolf Hitler. After his arrest he was sentenced to death and hanged on October 12th, 1944 in the Plötzensee prison in Berlin.
