Mausoleum Oignies

This mausoleum at the cemetery contains the grave of an unknown who was executed by the Germans on 28 May 1940. It commemorates the French and British soldiers who defended France in 1940, and the 80 inhabitants of Oignies who were executed by the Germans in the Second World War.
