8 1130 Locn in the Abbey at AVERBODE. Handed a blue print received from the Belgian White Army, it was found in one our crashed Wellingtons. The crew of five were buried in the Abbey cemetery by the monks. Blue print showed the complete wiring of the Fortress bomber. Crew were buried in 1943.
