6 – 10   Battalion moved area S of NIJMEGEN to support 82 US Airborne Div. 2 Sqn in close support of low ground S of R.WAAL. 3 Sqn in counter attack role area GROESBEEK – MOOK. 1 Sqn in reserve.
10   Relieved by 13/18 Hussars. Returned to Area S of GRAVE. Courses and training began. Spare crews from Div Transit Camp attached for training.
12   Visit of H.M. The King to NIJMEGEN Area.
19   Move to area of EWIJK as mobile reserve to area N of WAAL and Western approaches. 2 Sqns at 4 hrs notice, 1 as 24 hrs notice.
20 – 31   Couses and training. Drill crouse began on 25th.
