2   Major M.W.T. Leatham admitted to hospital Capt. R.D. Stewart-Brown regranted Temporary Rank of Major.
6   New Challengers are 'fired in' against enemy positions.
9   Inter-Sqn Drill Competition is held. Bad weather made its completion impossible.
10   Drill Competition resumed. Result: 1st – 3 Sqn. 2nd – HQ Sqn. 3rd – 1 Sqn. 4th – 2 Sqn. Judges were A/Adjt 1 Motor Gren Gds and R.S.M. 1 Motor Gren Gds. Advance Party, consisting of Major N.T.L. Fisher, Adjt, and 1 Offr per Sqn proceeds to SITTARD area to arrange new location, etc.
13   Bn arrives in SITTARD area. 'R' Sqns are located at MUNSTERGELEEN and Bn HQ at WATERSLEVILLE College. Two troops are in the line, with remainder of that Sqn in reserve. Remainder of Bn in reserve, and in event of counter attack must hold the high ground NORTH-EAST and SOUTH-EAST of Bn HQ, a tactical feature which dominates SITTARD.
19   Lieut. K.D. Neave is appointed Offr i/c Div HQ Tks. Capt F.S. Portal posted to Staff Capt 'Q' S.H.A.E.F. w.e.f. 11 Nov 44.
25   Commanding Officer inspects Billets.
30   General: The sector in which Bn spent November, 1944 appears to be a very quiet one. To date no casualties have been sustained. Trade Tests have been held during the month with a view to increasing the number of Mustered Tradesmen on strength. The Recce Tp is now being reorganised on the basis of 11 Cromwells instead of Honeys. Capt Sir M. Beckett, Bt is to command this Tp with Lieut P.W.V. Minoprio as his Rear Link. Commanding Officer's Directive on the use of this Tp is attached at Appendix 'D'. Appendix 'D'
