Biography

She helped US airmen to escape to Switzerland. Was arrested on August 20 1943, imprisoned, on May 1944 concentration camp Ravensbruck (prisoner nr 39290) then Sachsenhausen, liberated on Death March end on April 1945 by Soviet army.

The courage, bravery, and exceptional devotion to the common cause of freedom displayed by this person in undertaking such hazardous duties, knowing the price to be paid if apprehended, were a definite contributing factor to the termination of hostilities in this theater, meriting the highest degree of praise.
