Biography

Jhr. mr. Alexander Frederik de Savornin Lohman, born April 20, 1894 in Amsterdam. Referendary of the Department of Economic Affairs in Batavia. Infantry soldier in the Landstorm IV, taken prisoner of war in Bandoeng (West Java) and died in a hospital where he had been admitted due to acute pneumonia, in Pankanbaru, Riouw (off the east coast of Sumatra) on 17 October 1944. Father of 2 sons and 2 daughters.
