Jhr. mr. Johan Lodewijk Stern, born July 30, 1888 in Teteringen. Extraordinary deputy clerk of the Council of Justice in Soerabaja, lawyer at the Supreme Court of the Dutch East Indies 1918-1938. Captured and interned in a camp in Tjimahi (Java) where he died on August 12, 1944.
