Biography

Georg Schulze-Büttger was one of the members of the group that made the attempt to kill Adolf Hitler and take over the government on April 20th, 1944. After the attempt failed het was arrested at the frontline on August 20, 1944 for his involvement. He was discharged without honor by the Ehrenhof on September 14th, 1944. On October 13th, 1944 he was tried before Roland Freisler at the Volksgerichtshof and convicted to death by hanging. He was hanged in Berlin-Plötzensee on the same day.
