Biography

Walter Völzer was born on February 9th, 1917 as son of Fritz Daniel Carl Völzer and Karoline Christine Völzer-Schröder.

Walter Völzer was a member of the Panzer-Regiment 36 / 4.Panzer-Division which took part in the war in Poland and the West. After this, the Panzer-Regiment 36 was transferred to the 14.Panzer-Division. Walter Völzer also took part in the Battle for Stalingrad which he survived.
