Biography

11.08.1940: Unteroffizier and Bordfunker, WIA when the Bf110 D-0 of 1./ ZG 26 flown by Hauptmann (later Obertsleutnant) Johann 'Hans' Kogler crashed into the Channel off Felixstone 40 km north-east of the Thames Estuary at 12.10 p.m. - both wounded – took to dinghy, rescued by E-boats off Nieuport, and admitted to hospital in Brussels.
15.03.1960: killed in the crash of the NORATLAS Werknummer 060 coded GA+249 of LTG 61 : error of navigation due to the bad weather
