Biography

Erwin Clausen was killed on October 4th, 1943, when his plane was shot down over the North sea, near Borkum. At thatmoment he was Kommandeur I. / Jagdgeschwader 11 with the rank of Hauptmann. He was posthumously promoted to Major.
