Johannes Jacobus Hendrikx died during the transport from concentrationcamp Sachsenhausen to concentrationcamp Neuengamme in February 1945.

For having displyed courage, initiative, perseverance, liberality and devotion under hazardous circumstances in the joint battle aganist the usurpur of the Dutch independence and for maintaining spiritual freedom; in him honoring one of the forms of expression of the resistance which has inflicted increasing damage on the the Germans in the period of his various activities from May 15, 1940 to May 5, 1945 and has contributed to the liberation of the Fatherland in an unforgettable manner.
