Gerhard Paul Julius Schach was member of the NSDAP since 1928 and in order of sequence Strassenzellenleiter, Sektionsführer, Kreisleiter, Gauinspekteur, Gauorganisationsleiter and from 1944 the replacing Gauleiter of Berlin. He also was a member of the Prussian Landestag and from 1933 of the Reichstag. He wasa concel member of the Bezirksamt Horst Wessel, Gaubeauftragter in the DAF (Deutsche Arbeiter Front) für Berufserziehung and a NSKK-Brigadeführer.
