Biography

Generalleutnant Kurt Schmidt was the father of Günter Werner Schmidt. and Gerhard Schmidt.

During the First World War he received the Eisernes Kreuzes 2.Klasse and 1.Klasse, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and the Hamburger Hanseatenkreuz.
