In fieldservice: with 13/Infanterie Regiment 105/72 Division from 1.9.1939-7.7.1945. Member of NSDAP from 1.5.1933. Service in SA from 1.5.1933-31.31934, rank: Oberscharführer. Erwin Dörr served in April-Oct 1934 with 13/Infanterie Regiment 15 based in Kessel with laying mines. and from Nov, 1934 to Oct. 1936 he served with 13/Infanterie-Regiment 36 based in Kassel. from oct 1936 to the end of the war, he served in 13/Infaterie-Gegimnet 105, first based in Trier under 34 Infaterie-Division, during service in 1939 in Westwall the regiment went under the name of: Grenzdivision Trier. 1939 the 13/Infanterie-regiment 105 was placed under 72. Infaterie-Division. Erwin Dörr action service during the war was: 1939: Westwall (Trier, German/French border). 1940, Battle in France and from Oct-Dec 1940 he was placed in Paris. 1941: Active in Rumania, Sothern Ukraine and Krim, he got wounded on 13.8-1941 during the battle at the Krim. (Jun-July-1942 active in Sewastopol). 1943: Russia (Rshew, Orel, Brjansk, Dnjepr, Kiew & Tscherkassy) Erwin Dörr was promoted to Leutenant on 1.4-1943. 1944: Russia and Ukraine (Tscherkassy, Lemberg, Kowel & Baranow) 1945: Baranow, Oder & Lausitz.
