Biography

USAAF/USAF/USAFR service numbers: O-54612, 9689A, and R9689, RCAF service number: C6794

Attended the U.S. Air Command and Staff College, Squadron Officer School, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He entered service with the RCAF at Ottawa on September 23rd, 1940 and later during the war transferred to the U.S. Army Air Corps on December 25, 1942. He retired as a Colonel having served with the Army Air Forces, Air Force and Air Force Reserve. Married Patricia H. Murray in 1941 and they were together until her death in 1987. Records show they had 3 children, one of them died young in 1955.

Aaron, Thomas TexCol. (USAF) Thomas Richard Aaron, 96 of Orlando Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2014, surrounded by his loved ones. Tex was born in Fort Stockton Texas to John Richard and Nellie Marie Aaron. Throughout his life, he lived many places around the globe serving his country in the United States Air Force. Once retired from the military he spent over 40 years calling Orlando, FL home. A memorial service will be held honoring Tex at 11am on Sat., May 24, 2014, at Spring Of Life United Methodist Church, 11101 Moss Park Rd., Orlando 32832
