Recommendation:
"Col. BERDENIS van BERLEKOM is Deputy Director of The Netherlands Air Force under non-flying Vice Admiral J.W. Termijtelen. Actually he is concerned with all of the work and policies of that office. As such he has been our friend, advisor and informant, giving us a close-up view of operations and developments in his own service. The Dutch Air Force is a small one, yet the Dutch have succeeded since 1940 dividing this small Air Force into Navy, Army, and units flying with the RAF. Col. BERDENIS has consolidated the top organizations of these divided branches so that some unity is apparent. In all of their activities the Dutch have directly and indirectly to the best of their ability in the air supported the war efforts of the United States in this theater. Through Col. BERDENIS's personal interest and efforts it has become easier for us to receive information on these activities from a single organization where previously there existed many. Col. BERDENIS has been most helpful in giving us prompt information on matters in which this office has shown interest, collaborating in a friendly spirit that contributed greatly to a profitable relationship."
