Biography

Lived in Surabaya. Chef fa. Crone in Semarang/Director of the Dutch East Indies Colonial Bank Soerabaja. From 1914 to 1920 he was a student at the Stedelijk Gymnasium Haganum in The Hague and studied law after obtaining his degree. Twice he was imprisoned on suspicion of resistance against the Japanese ruler. Early February 1943 for the second time. After being imprisoned for some time, he was beheaded by the Japanese in April 1943. Disease (angina pectoris) was reported to the next of kin and the local authorities as the cause of death. At the time, his immediate family lived at 25 Billitonstraat in The Hague.
