Biography

After regrouping in Great Britain and training at Camberley until August 1943he was promoted to 'Caporal-chef' on 8th August 1943. After this he took part in the Operations 'France' with 4th SAS, 'Dingson' with the Second wave from 9th until 18th June 1944, 'Spenser' from 26th August until 14th September 1944 with Squadron 1, 'Franklin' from 24th December 1944 until 30th January 1945 with Command Squadron and 'Amherst' from 4th April 1945. He was killed in action in the Ellertsveld woods, the Netherlands on 9th April 1945 and was buried at Memorial S.A.S. in Sennecey-le-Grand.
