Biography

Prince Gustaf Adolf, formally Gustaf Adolf Oscar Fredrik Arthur Edmund, Duke of Västerbotten, had good relations with nazi senior officials and expressed his support for the Fins in the war agains the Red Army. The prince served in the Swedish Army during the Second World War. He died in a plane accident.

The Swedish royalty originates from the former French Bernadotte Family.
