Georges Mahé followed his military training during Stage 143B at Ringway from 22nd November until 11th December 1944 and took part in operation 'Amherst' from 4th April 1945 with 22/Peloton Jeeps, 4th SAS and was wounded on 8th April 1945 near Orvelte's bridge, the Netherlands.
