November 1943 : sent to Russia as NCO in the 6.Kie II.Bat. IR 638 - LVF
01.09.1944: promoted to Waffen-Unterscharführer der SS and transferred to the Waffen SS
January to April 1945 : attended the officer cadet course in the SS-Panzergrenadierschule in Kienschlag
01.02.1945: promoted to Waffen-Standarten-Junker der SS
01.04.1945: promoted to Waffen-Standarten-Oberjunker der SS
End April 1945 : SS- Standarten-OberJunker serving in the staff of the French SS-Sturmbataillon in Carpin
26 April 1945 : hard fightings in Berlin, decorated on the field by a member of the 11.SS Div. 'Nordland' offering his own EKII (version 1) or EKI (version 2) to DOUROUX
2nd May 1945 : captured with SS Hstuf Fenet in the U-Bahn in Berlin
