Biography

Panek was a professional skier with the TS "Wisła" Zakopane from 1937 to 1939.

In September 1939, he fled to France (via Hungary) and eventually joined the Polish Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade in the Middle East. Panek was killed at Tobruk.
