Biography

Before enlisting in the RAAF Geoffrey Oakeshot worked as a clerk for the SOuth Australian Gas Company. After training in Australia he arrived in the UK on 15/8/1942
23/10/43 commisioned as Pilot Oficer on Probation and confirmed and promoted to Flying Officer on 23/4/1944 and promoted to Flight Lieutenant 23/10/1945.
He disembarked in Australia on 17/10/1945
