Biography

11 april 1942: Joins the Army, subsequently assigned to the USAAF and gunner school at Harlingen.
14 april - 12 juni 1943: Gunnery Instructor School in Fort Myers, subsequently assigned to Texas as gunnery instructor.
1944: Active duty England.
22 February 1945: B-24H Liberator 42-95241 "Jolly Duck" crash landed at Zoetermeer. Crew survived. Some are taken prisoner of war, while McCormick joins the local Dutch resistance.
29 April 1945: Killed in a skirmish with Wehrmacht soldiers.
