Biography

Anna Maria Janssen van Loon was born on June 23rd, 1895 as the daughter to Leonardus van Loon (1844-1923) and his second wife Johanna van Loon-Eijkemans (1867-1912). She married on April 17th, 1920 in Deurne with Cornelis Janssen (1892-1963). Between 1922 and 1963 she lived at the Snoertsebaan 4 in Liessel where her husband worked as a farmer. The couple used their farm as a hideout for people who fled the Germans and Alllied pilots who tried to evade.
