Biography

Private. Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (M.G.), R.C.I.C.

Angel, injured on June 8, 1944, managed to avoid being captured with two other Canadian Soldiers. His wound left him no choice to surrender after almost a day evading the Germans. The three were shot by a firing squad the next morning. Pvt. Angel left behind four children.
