Cemetery Military Hospital Jevíčko

After the Battle of Leipzig, which took place from 16 to 19 October 1813, a large number of ill and wounded soldiers of allied troops and also sick prisoners of the French remained. The Military Council in Vienna ordered the delivery of part of the sick and wounded to other of the Austrian Empire. Several field hospitals were set up in Moravia, including Jevíčko, which was active until the end of April 1814. The soldiers who died here, are buried in this cemetery.
