Memorial Battle at Großbeeren
This monument, a "Schinkel-Tabernacle (Schinkel Pyramide)", commemorates the battle of Großbeeren.
The battle of Großbeeren occurred on 23 August 1813 between the French army and Prussian troops and resulted in a victory for the Prussians. On the French side, the losses to about 4000 men (dead, wounded, missing and captured), on the Prussian side approximately 1000 men.
