Memorial Battle of Lonato

This plaque, at the entrance of the Rocca di Lonato del Garda, commemorates the Battle of Lonato which took place on 3 and 4 August 1796, between the French Army of Italy under General Napoleon Bonaparte and a an Austrian army led by Field-Marshall Peter Vitus von Quosdanovich.
