Memorial Complex Wetteren
In the night of 18 August 1944, 26 residents were arrested by the Germans on suspicion of membership in the resistance and sabotage on the eve of the liberation.
Six of them were deported and killed in the concentration camps.

A second memorial commemorates the civilian casualties of Wetteren.
