Pillbox Newbury St

This pillbox has been restored a few years ago with help from modern military. Two lovers lockets were found as part of the ground survey. It is located on Newbury Street and visible to pedestrians.

An eye has been made up from pieces of brick, representing one of the men that died, looking out over Newbury Road as they would have.
