Memorial Jewish Victims Den Bosch

In De Mortel at the rear of the former synagogue are these three plaques with the names of 293 Jewish citizens of Den Bosch who were victim of World War Two. The text on the memorial is:

's-Hertogenbosch commemorates 293 Jewish citizens who were killed in the death camps. Because of this the Jewish community of Den Bosch almost ceased to exist. We won't forget them and the circumstances in which they lost their lives. 2016 / 5777.


There are also information panels describing the deportation of the Gypsies and the Jews from Den Bosch during the Second World War by the German occupiers.
