Memorial Arpley Cannons

At Arpley Station, there were orginally two Russian cannons from the Crimean War (1853-1856). There were removed for scrap for the War effort on 22 June 1940. The stone tablets were later moved to Victoria Park on demolition of the station in 1968. Later on, they were resqued and moved to Queen's Gardens.
