Commemorative Plates Second World War Soumagne

One plate commemorates the civilians who died during the liberation of Soumagne on 9 September 1944.
The other commemorates the American soldiers who fell by German bombardments on 9 September 1944.

First Lieutenant Rothmayer (28 yrs) and Private first class Esposito, 33th regiment, 3rd Armoured Division (Hell on Wheels), 1st Army.

They are both buried on the American Cemetery at Henri-Chapelle (B). (Photo's will be posted later).
