Shipwrecks Operation Dynamo

Between May 26, 1940 and June 4, during Operation Dynamo, more than 300,000 Allied soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk and also from the beaches of Malo-les-Bains to De Panne.

When you walk on the beach between Bray-Dunes and Zuydcoote today, you can still see 4 shipwrecks from that period at low tide, including the Crested Eagle (photo 1) and the Devonia (photo 3).
