Polish War Graves Cmentarz Komunalny 1939-1945

The communal cemetery in Bydgoszcz contains a military plot with the graves of 423 killed Polish soldiers. 72 of them felll during the September Campaign (1939) and 351 were killed during the heavy fighting for Bydgoszcz in 1945.

A symbolic mass grave contains 10 resistance fighters who were executed by the NKVD in the period 1945-1949.
