Modified Tobruk with brick walls.

Stutspunkt XXVIII HM.
Build pre second world war by the Dutch army as a machine gun case-mate. Built on top of Conincks Bolwerk from the 1880.
From march 1944 on wards this position was strategic well placed. It defended the only dry road(dike) access westerly from Hellevoetsluis. Left side of the dike was sea water and the other side was inundated polder.
