German Radarposition Tiger - Küvertype 467 Wachbunker Variant

Wachbunker Küvertype 467

This type of bunker has been built on the Tiger rack in small and large variants. You will find them in many bunker complexes of the Luftwaffe in the Netherlands, often used as accommodation for men. Each room had a window with a shard wall. These hemispheres were bricked at this bunker. The structure is known as Wachbunker, which indicates that the guards of the position were housed here.

This bunker is part of the German radarposition Tiger from World War II. This site is now housed in a museum. More information about this museum can be found at https://bunkersterschelling.nl/
