German Radarposition Tiger - Küvertype 467 Bekleidungbunker

Bekleidungbunker Variant on Küvertype 467

This type of bunker is built on the Tiger rack in large and small variants. You will encounter them in many bunker complexes of the Luftwaffe in the Netherlands, often as accommodation for men. There were a few windows for which a semicircular shard wall was constructed for protection. The structure here is known as Bekleid. Bunker which is probably the abbreviation for Bekleidung. Here were military equipment such as helmets, bags, canteens, belts, cartridge bags and gas masks.

A photo exhibition is now housed in this bunker.
This bunker is part of the German radarposition Tiger from World War II. This site is now housed in a museum. More information about this museum can be found at https://bunkersterschelling.nl/
