Memorials Our Lady of Emergency Church Merchtem

In the church in Merchtem there are 2 memorial plaques.

One plate contains the names of those killed in the war 1940-1945.
On the copper plate we see the names of the fallen and one murdered civilian in the First World War.

On the edge of the frame we read the text:
A high favor is reserved for those who died out of faithful love to the country - Machab. XII, 45
