War Memorial Sint-Gillis-Waas

War memorial First and Second World War for the fallen and civilian victims of Sint-Gillis-Waas.

It was founded in 1921 for the 26 young men who died at the front and the 19 civilians who lost their lives. The memorial was created by Alfred Courtens, a renowned Belgian artist.
Later the names of the victims and resisters of the Second World War were added.
