War Memorial Porcheresse

The monument is located on the side wall of the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church.
It is a calvary in a kind of portal and protected by a low iron gate.

At the top we see below the crucifix:
Left: Soldiers - 2 names
Deportees - 1 name
Right: Civilians shot-6 names
Below: "died for the fatherland"
On the plinth: "1914 - 1918"

To the left and right of this central part is another commemorative plaque:
Left: "The municipality
Porcheresse
In honor of his children
in captivity
1940 - 1945 "

Right: "The municipality
Porcheresse
Glorious memory of it
Armand PIRLOT
died for the fatherland
in the camp
of Oberhausen-Holten
on June 9, 1944
at the age of 23 ".
