Stumbling Stones Reinhold-Brändle-Weg 8

These memorial stones (so called Stolpersteine of stumbling blocks), opposite Reinhold-Brändle-Weg 8, commemorate:
Johann Kling (murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau on 3-8-1944)
Johanna Kling (murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau on 3-8-1944)
Marta Kling (murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau on 3-8-1944)
Albert Reinhardt (murdered in Natzweiler)
August Reinhardt (murdered in Ohrdruff)
Karl Rumberger (born 1908, murdered in Flossenbürg on 12-8-1944)

The small copper plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.

In many other German cities the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
