Belgian War Graves Sainte-Cécile

At the municipal cemetery of St. Cécile are two more war graves.

JONARD Maurice: born in 1912.
He belonged to the 2nd Grenadiers 2nd Bat 6th Comp.
Died in Kanne on 10 May 1940 in heavy fighting on the Albert Canal.
The 6th Company defended five strongpoints along the path from Eben Emael to the blown bridge of Kanne (west side of the Fort of Eben Emael).

GALLOY Martial: Born 1920.
Soldier 1st Ardennes Fighters.
He was captured and died as a prisoner of war, in the service of the fatherland, in Seidenberg on November 2, 1940 at the age of 20 years.
