Memorial Australian Imperial Force Bapaume

Commemorative Plaque in memory of the men of the Australian Imperial Force who were killed or wounded during the night of 25th-26th March 1917 in an explosion in the townhall of Bapaume.
They were victims of a booby-trap device left by the Germans prior to their withdrawal to the Hindenburg Line.
